Appointments

An appointment means a prospect from the approved targeting criteria responded to the approved message and agreed to an appointment.

The targeting counts as pre-qualification, done with publicly available data, which may vary in accuracy. These are marketing-qualified leads.

A percentage will become sales-qualified leads after speaking to them on the phone and doing further follow-ups.

It’s important to remember that we cannot guarantee the number of sales-qualified leads, as it’s a part of your process that we don’t control.

You are able to adjust the targeting criteria to improve the quality of leads, however it is important to keep in mind, you will never get 100% of marketing qualified leads become sales qualified leads in any marketing campaign, it is not possible or realistic.

You must accept that only some leads will become a deal. For this reason, there are no warranty-based arguments about which appointments qualify and which don’t because all appointments meet the pre-approved targeting and respond to the pre-approved messages, so they meet the criteria; this keeps things simple and avoids disputes.

Equally, not showing up for appointments does not change their appointment status. They still count as one, although we will try to re-book any appointments missed as part of the service.

Marketing Collaboration

Your role is crucial in determining the campaign's outcome, especially in areas that affect the number of appointments.

    The things that have the most significant impact on appointments are:

  • Targeting
  • Profile
  • Message
  • Offer

While we provide advice or assistance, we don't get the final say in what gets approved.

For example, you could request that we change the criteria to something ineffective and then refuse to let us change it.

So, to avoid a situation where we end up working for free forever if your choice of criteria is not working after 30 days, we will suggest up to 3 alternatives. If you reject them all and offer no other solution we can agree upon within the next 60 days, this will terminate the guarantee.

Marketing Qualified Leads

Leads will be qualified based on publicly available information before contact, but trying to qualify leads further by asking them direct questions before the first appointment is not advised, as this breaks rapport and will reduce your lead flow.

It is usually best to handle many of these things on the sales call so they become “Sales Qualified Leads.”

However, this is at your discretion. We allow you to add as many questions as you like. However, each question added reduces the guaranteed number of appointments by 17.

Attending Appointments

If you consistently don't attend the appointments set, this will not invalidate the guarantee but we might pause the campaign until you are able to continue properly.

Sales Process

We don't have any direct control over your sales process. However, this dramatically affects your conversion rate from appointments to deals closed.

We might offer advice or suggestions on how you can improve this, but this is at our discretion.

Sales Agent Experience

We don't have any control over your deal making experience. Even experienced deal makers need on average 50 leads to make a deal, if you are learning this as a new skill you might require a lot more.

Change Of Campaign Type

If you wish to change the focus of the campaign to something else other than M&A, you can do this, but you have to provide your own messaging to use for the campaign, and this invalidates the guaranteed number of appointments.

Pausing The Campaign

You can pause and restart the campaign without limitation during the six months that you have paid for. However, if the campaign runs for free after those six months, pausing it invalidates the guarantee if done for more than 7 days.
